Children's & Teen's Educational Program
This series of workshops and activities have been designed to maximize enjoyment and education for your entire family. Our
Wilderness Education Program for Children is nationally acclaimed and classes fill quickly! Please register early as space is limited.

Survival
Survival for Kids An interactive and educational workshop designed exclusively for children that provides a positive, fun and rewarding experience. Children learn how to avoid getting lost, how to spend a survival night out and how to stay warm. They practice signaling and building improvised shelters. (Ages 6-12) Offered Daily July 28 - Aug 1, 8:30 11:30 am $60

Survival for Teens This course is designed to teach older children how to navigate safely and avoid getting lost in the backcountry, how to build improvised shelters and fires, find food, and survive the unexpected night out. (Ages 12 and up) July 28, 1:00 4:00 pm or July 30, 8:30 11:30 am $60.

First Aid
Wilderness First Aid For Kids This course will teach children how to recognize and manage common medical problems and emergencies. (Ages 7-12) July 30 or July 31, 8:30 11:30 am $60

Wilderness First Aid For Teens This exciting hands-on course is designed to teach young adults how to take care of themselves and others in an emergency. Includes a first aid kit and AHA Heartsaver First Aid/CPR certificate. (Ages 12 and up.) July 29, 8:30 11:30 am $70.

Orienteering
Orienteering Teaches children and teens basic map skills in an outdoor setting. Make and use maps. Use maps for a fun scavenger hunt and mini-orienteering course. Price includes compass (Ages 10 and up.) July 29 or July 30, 9:00 11:45 am $60.

Orienteering Competition for Teens Includes basic instruction in this international sport and a real competition using map and compass. Map and compass included. Prizes! July 31, 9:00 am 12 Noon $60

Activities
Go Hug A Tree! A guided nature walk designed for children. Parents welcome. July 29 and 31, 9:00 10:15 am Free.

Adventure/Wildlife Movie Nightly, 7 pm Free.

Campfire & Sing-A-Long Enjoy songs, stories & toasted marshmallows. July 30, 8:30 pm Free.

Kayaking/Climbing
Wall Climbing ClinicLearn basics of rock climbing and belaying from experienced professional instructors. (Ages 9-14). Daily, 9:00 am

Kayak Clinic Geyser Whitewaters guides introduce your child to this exciting sport. (Ages 11-16) Daily, 10:00 am

Wilderness Art Class
Learn the basics of sketching & how to realistically depict scenes. We will go outside and sketch the wonderful scenery found in Big Sky. No experience necessary. All supplies provided. (Ages 12 and up) August 1, 2:00 4:30 pm $50
