Namibia is a "secret" wildlife lover's gem! If you want sheer adventure, offering unique experiences that are non-existant elsewhere in Africa, this trip is for you. Imagine tracking desert-adapted elephants, lions, and cheetahs--and the only population of desert black rhino still living in the wild? Think you have already seen the best of Africa? Join us for a truly amazing wildlife safari to a very unique and exhilarating part of this incredible continent. Join us for a Wilderness Medicine CME experience par excellence!

Namibia is a vast country, covering an area approximately twice the size of California, but with a population of a mere 2 million - the second lowest density in the world. Traveling in Namibia brings an amazingly 'soulful' feeling of peace and solitude. It is also an 'ageless land'; visible through a heritage of rock art created by stone-age artists and geological attractions such as the petrified forest (where fossilized tree trunks have laid for over 280 million years)

This Privately Guided Namibia Safari affords you the chance to experience this magnificent and memorable country in a very personal way. You will have your own experienced safari guide who will make your trip a stress-free journey of discovery amidst dramatic scenery. The knowledge, experience and attitude of our guides are critical to a successful safari which is why we ensure that they are both personable and very professional. Your guide will have an intimate knowledge of each area and camp/lodge that you visit, allowing them to share the local highlights while adding continuity and depth to your safari. It goes without saying that they know exactly what a "True African Safari" is all about. Each guide has a developed an additional specific area of expertise. Together they possess the breadth and depth of knowledge to answer questions and satisfy the particular interests of each participant. Your guide will help turn your safari into an experience of a lifetime!

The climate Namibia is typical of a semi-desert country. Days are warm to hot and nights are generally cool. Temperatures are modified by the high plateau in the interior and by the cold Benguela Current that runs along the Atlantic coastline.

The Wilderness and Travel Medicine CME lectures will take place in fantastic wildlife lodges each late afternoon before dinner.
